HISTORY: 

This 64-year-old male presents with elevated PSA of 21.22ng/mL, family history of prostate cancer.

PRIMARY FINDING: 

PI-RADS 2.

FINDINGS:

The prostate measures 5 x 4.5 x 5.5cm with calculated ellipsoid volume of 64.8mL. The PSA density is 0.33. No areas of restricted diffusion in the peripheral zone. Encapsulated glandular nodules in the transitional zone, no hypointense mass. The capsule is intact. Neurovascular bundle within normal limits. Moderate atrophy of the left seminal vesicle. 

No lymphadenopathy in the visualized pelvis. Bilateral inguinal hernia with fat. 

No focal suspicious osseous lesions. 

CONCLUSION

No MRI evidence of aggressive prostate cancer. Encapsulated glandular nodules in the transitional zone with no hypointense mass consistent with benign prostatic hypertrophy. PI-RADS 2.
