Patient with suspected apical pathology referred for Cardiac MRI
Findings
There is thickening of the LV apex, diffuse subendocardial enhancement in the apical segments extending into the myocardium and a non enhancing low signal intensity structure representing a thrombus attached to the LV apex.
Impressions
Eosinophilic endomyocarditis
