<div>HISTORY:&#160;This 61-year-old female presents with a painful mass in the left distal thigh for six to nine months.(QUIZ ANSWER) DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS COULD INCLUDE ALL:&#160;True.Using the&#160;diagnostic web viewer, we have provided images that assist in telling our clinical story. Areas of significance are indicated below.FINDINGS: An inflammatory and cicatrized area in the subcutaneous space, deep within the fat extending down to the mild subcutaneous junction but not in the muscle itself is identified.&#160;Differential diagnosis includes inflammatory process that is low grade or indolent, nodular or pseudosarcomatous fasciitis, and fat necrosis. No signs of neoplasm are noted.&#160;CONCLUSION:&#160;Ill-defined swelling of the lateral subcutaneous space for which entities such as nodular fasciitis, inflammation, or low grade indolent infection or infarction are considerations. Nonneoplastic appearance.</div>
