Patient History
An 11 year old girl with chest pain

Findings
The left main coronary artery arises from the main pulmonary artery. It further divides into the left anterior descending coronary artery ( LAD) and the left circumflex coronary artery ( LCX). The right coronary artery arises normally from the aorta. A contrast blush is seen in the main pulmonary artery indicating an extra cardiac left to right shunt.


Impressions
Anomalous left main coronary artery from the pulmonary artery ( ALCAPA syndrome)
