MRI Online, an organization accredited by the ACCME, requires persons in a position to control content of an educational activity to disclose all relevant financial relationships with any co-sponsor and/or commercial interest. Relevant financial relationships are financial relationships of the individual (including those of the individual’s spouse or partner) in any amount occurring within the past 12 months that create a conflict of interest. A commercial interest is any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients. ACCME Policy on Commercial Support mandates that the content of accredited activities be objective and free of commercial bias. The intent of this policy is not to prevent faculty, presenters, speakers, authors and reviewers with a potential conflict of interest from making a presentation. It is intended that any potential conflict of interest should be identified openly so that the listeners may form their own judgments about the presentations with the full disclosure of the facts. CME Planning Committee Members, meeting planners, and staff have no relevant relationships to disclose with regard to this program.
