Desired Outcomes
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Discuss common indications for breast MRI
- Apply the 2013 ACR BI-RADS lexicon to report findings
- Identify and categorize common artifacts
- Recognize typical physiological changes
- Identify, evaluate and discriminate between common benign and malignant findings on contrast-enhanced MRI
- Recognize findings that impact breast cancer staging
- Formulate management plans based on MRI findings
- Interpret non-enhanced breast MRI implant rupture studies
