This 5-week course includes the 25 essential cases a radiologist needs to master to

confidently diagnose breast conditions on MRI.

Desired Outcomes

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

1. Discuss common indications for breast MRI
2. Apply the 2013 ACR BI-RADS lexicon to report findings
3. Identify and categorize common artifacts
4. Recognize typical physiological changes
5. Identify, evaluate and discriminate between common benign and malignant findings on contrast-enhanced MRI
6. Recognize findings that impact breast cancer staging
7. Formulate management plans based on MRI findings
8. Interpret non-enhanced breast MRI implant rupture studies
9. Create radiology reports for the referring physicians
