Report

Patient History
Patient born with congenital defect for which surgery had been performed received cardiac MRI.

Findings
The right ventricle is markedly dilated and there is severe pulmonic insufficiency. Typical post operative complications after primary TOF correction by relief of RVOT obstruction involving pulmonary valvotomy and or patch repair of the RVOT. The anterior wall of the RV below the pulmonary valve region is aneurysmal and enhances indicating fibrotic tissue.

Impressions
Post operative Tetralogy of Fallot

Patient History
Patient born with congenital defect for which surgery had been performed received cardiac MRI.

Findings
The main pulmonary artery and its branching is located immediately anterior to the aorta and behind the sternum a characteristic configuration of the great vessels post arterial switch operation. The aortic root is dilated a recognized complication post arterial switch.

Impressions
D-TGA post arterial switch

Patient History
Patient born with congenital defect for which surgery had been performed received cardiac MRI.

Findings
The left sided pulmonary veins can be seen to be routed into the right atrium and draining into the right ventricle. The right ventricle is dilated, hypertrophied and has a markedly reduced systolic function as it is the systemic ventricle connected to the aorta. The SVC can be seen baffled to the left sided atrium and the lower aspect of the baffle is narrowed.

Impressions
D-TGA post atrial switch

Patient History
Patient born with congenital defect for which surgery had been performed received cardiac MRI.

Findings
There is a single functional ventricle in this patient with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. The defect has been palliated with a total cavopulmonary connection with the SVC and IVC directly connected to the pulmonary arteries constituting the Fontan procedure.

Impressions
Hypoplastic left heart syndrome and Fontan procedure
