Report

Patient History
A 38 year old woman presents to the ED with Acute chest pain. ECG does not show ischemic changes. Troponins are elevated

Findings
Hypokinetic inferior LV wall. Mildly decreased LV EF (54%)

Linear T2 high signal in the LV septum, anterior wall and inferior wall

Intramural linear mid wall enhancement in the septum. Subepicardial enhancement in the anterior wall and inferior wall on the late gadolinium enhancement images.

Impressions
CMR findings are consistent with an Acute Myocarditis
Mildly reduced LV EF
