Report

PATIENT HISTORY: Nausea/vomiting

CT abdomen and pelvis intravenous contrast.

INDICATION: Nausea/vomiting.

COMPARISON: None.

TECHNIQUE: CT images of the abdomen and pelvis were obtained after the administration of intravenous contrast.

FINDINGS:

Lung bases: Visualized lung bases are clear.

Hepatobiliary: Unremarkable.

Pancreas: Unremarkable.

Spleen: Unremarkable.

Adrenal glands: Unremarkable.

Kidneys: A 1.8 cm left lower pole renal angiomyolipoma is present.

Bowel: There is circumferential edema and wall thickening involving the gastric antrum with a mural defect seen along the anterior wall highly concerning for a perforated ulcer.

Abdominal and pelvic lymph nodes: No lymphadenopathy.

Peritoneum: Moderate amount of ascites and pneumoperitoneum is present.

Vasculature: No abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Pelvis: No mass.

Musculoskeletal system and soft tissue: No aggressive osseous lesion.

IMPRESSION:

Perforated gastric ulcer as described.
