She also includes helpful hints on the characteristics of certain abnormalities that can mimic other diagnoses.

Each case includes helpful breakdowns of CT and MR findings, key teaching points, and some best practices for imaging rationale, indications, optimal imaging protocols, and reporting. Test yourself to determine:

• Whether a right Petrous apex mass is asymmetric marrow, trapped fluid, cholesterol granuloma, chondrosarcoma, or petrous apicitis
• Is a mass metastasis, lymphoma, pituitary macroadenoma, chordoma, or chondrosarcoma? 
• Would you classify a parapharyngeal space mass as a lymphadenopathy, pleomorphic adenoma, paraganglioma, or salivary malignancy? 
• Is a right carotid space mass a carotid body tumor, lymphadenopathy, vagal paraganglioma, or vagal schwannoma? 
• Could the cause of headache be cavernous sinus thrombosis, CC fistula, superior ophthalmic vein varix, or normal variant?
