Course Description

Join Dr. Sally Ayesa as she covers the fundamentals of PSMA PET imaging, its advantages and limitations, and her expert approach to interpreting PSMA PET cases.

Start with Dr. Ayesa’s overview of prostate anatomy and the imaging features of prostate cancer, followed by a discussion of PSMA PET/CT as a tool for detecting, staging, and treating the disease, as well as its role in identifying clinically significant incidental findings.

Take this course to gain a deeper understanding of PSMA’s physiology and pharmacology, and PET radiopharmaceuticals. Dr. Ayesa also compares different PSMA ligands and provides guidance on selecting the most appropriate options for various clinical scenarios.

Finally, Dr. Ayesa explores the science behind theranostics, an emerging treatment approach for prostate cancer, and provides key take home pearls and pitfalls to help you apply advanced imaging techniques effectively in your practice to improve patient outcomes.

Read alongside Dr. Ayesa as she walks through her systematic approach to using PSMA PET/CT in the evaluation of:

  • Prostate cancer
  • Loco-regional lymph nodes
  • Spinal cord encroachment
  • Neurogenic tumors
  • Recurrence post-prostatectomy
  • …and more!
