Course Description

Globally, colorectal cancer is the 2nd most common malignancy in women and 3rd most common in men, with the highest rates occurring in North America, Australia, Europe, South Korea, and Japan. Join Dr. Judy Yee (Montefiore Medical Center) and Dr. Kevin Chang (Boston University Medical Center) as they provide background on CT Colonography (CTC), a safe, effective test that can be utilized to screen for colorectal cancer.

Dr. Yee begins this course with an overview of risk factors, epidemiology, current guidelines, patient preparation techniques, and methods for interpretation.

Then, Dr. Chang demonstrates how CTCs are read and reviews a selection of cases that cover pathologies of the colon. Dr. Chang also provides guidance on the features you'll need to know to describe these conditions and showcases how he uses C-RADS to classify lesions and guide management for specific findings.

Take this course to improve your understanding and comfort of CT Colonography (CTC) interpretation, and how early screening and radiologists play an important role in improving patient outcomes in cases of colorectal cancer.

Optimize your learning:

  • Read alongside Radiology mentors who want to help you fine-tune your search patterns and work through your list of differential diagnoses.
  • Review at your own pace by utilizing the video player features to pause, rewind, and slow down the video to work through the case at your own pace.

After you’re done, check out these additional Body Imaging Mastery Courses for further in-depth case review:
