Course Description

Join Dr. David Yousem (Johns Hopkins) as he provides a comprehensive review of anatomic considerations and normal variants, infectious inflammatory disease, and a wide array of neoplasms of the sinonasal cavity. This course was developed with help from Mahla Radmard, MD, Azita Khorsandi, MD, and Nafi Aygun, MD.

Dr. Yousem also breaks down CT and MR imaging protocol, normal post-op findings in the paranasal sinus and complications, how to apply the Keros classification in reporting, and how he communicates his findings.

Read alongside Dr. Yousem as he showcases his approach to diseases and conditions affecting the sinonasal cavity, like:

  • Fungal sinusitis
  • Pott’s puffy tumor
  • Epidural abscess
  • Pleomorphic adenoma
  • Squamous cell carcinoma
  • Fibrous dysplasia
  • Nasal septal perforation
  • Olfactory neuroblastoma
  • …and more!

Optimize your learning:

  • Test Yourself - Before starting the video, launch the DICOM study and complete your independent review of the case in our diagnostic web viewer.
  • Review at your own pace - Reminder to utilize the video player features to speed up or slow down the video, pause or rewind to best fit your available time and learning needs.
  • Read alongside Dr. Yousem - Keep the DICOM study open while you watch Dr. Yousem review the cases. We suggest popping the DICOM viewer open in a new window and viewing side by side with the video on your screen.
