Course Description
Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) has become increasingly common in breast imaging practices and is a well-established improvement over standard full-field digital mammography (FFDM) for detecting breast cancer. Understanding the imaging appearances of classic findings on DBT improves accuracy and confidence in your daily interpretation.
In this course, Dr. Ryan Woods (University of Wisconsin-Madison) reviews several topics related to Tomosynthesis, including imaging acquisition techniques, screening and diagnostic performance, and CAD/AI applications.
Learn alongside Dr. Woods as he walks through classic tomosynthesis cases you may run into in your daily practice. Dr. Woods shares tips and tricks on how he approaches DBT cases, including lesion localization, common artifacts, architectural distortion, and the challenges of calcifications on tomo.
This course will prepare you to confidently approach a variety of findings seen on screening mammograms using Tomosynthesis, including:
