Here's a patient who had congenital conductive
0:05
hearing loss. And on the sequences,
0:09
what one can see is a normal head of malleus,
0:13
a normal short process of incus.
0:16
We have the neck of the malleus with
0:18
the tensor tympani muscle,
0:20
but we're missing something more posteriorly here.
0:24
We do see stapes here, but we don't have the incus.
0:29
So this could be a second branchial apparatus anomaly
0:34
associated with loss of the long process of the incus.
0:39
No other abnormalities were noted.
