Course Description

Stay sharp with your skills by taking advantage of our Practice Cases, where you can tackle the same challenging scenarios as the assessments and further refine your reading and interpretation abilities!

These are the same interesting Small Joints MRI cases that you reviewed in the assessments. After each case quiz, you'll be provided with your case review time, the correct diagnosis, and a gold standard case report. Dr.Stephen J. Pomeranz and Dr. Edward Smitaman have also provided several video case reviews for you to watch and learn how the faculty approach these cases. Note: The first 5 cases are related to hand and wrist, and the remaining 10 are related to foot and ankle.

Each case includes:

  • Patient history
  • DICOM study you can scroll through in our diagnostic web viewer
  • Timed case review assessment
  • Diagnosis and findings assessment
  • Gold Standard Case report
  • Additional learning materials

The Small Joints MRI Case Challenge was developed by Stephen J. Pomeranz, MD, and Edward Smitaman, MD, along with co-contributor, Kurtis Rosengreen, MD.
