Live Lectures Details

1.

Topic: EBV and HPV & Head and Neck Cancer

Description: The blurring of infectious and neoplastic causes of masses in the pharynx and oral cavity can best be epitomized by the relationship of Epstein Barr virus and nasopharyngeal carcinoma and human papilloma virus and oropharyngeal cancer. The epidemiology and demographics of those patients with these viral exposures is explored and the relationship to and characteristics of the cancers they “cause” are fascinating. Vaccinations may lead to less widespread cancers but right now HPV+ oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma and EBV based nasopharyngeal cancers are the dominant forms. They have unique imaging features to be highlighted.

MRI Online's Remote Neuroradiology Fellowship was definitely the most useful and productive educational program that I have ever joined. It is a very well organized, all-inclusive teaching package with no external sources needed. Personalized feedback on my reports is invaluable. Weekly interactive teaching sessions with (Dr. Yousem) kept us motivated and allowed us to watch closely how such a talented Neuro-radiology professor would approach his cases, giving us great tips for both MRI Neuro-Anatomy and Pathology. This fellowship certainly increased my reporting confidence, speed, accuracy and took my day-to-day practice to the next level.
