Course Description

This course will cover normal anatomy of the appendix. We will do a multi-modality review of acute appendicitis, including within special populations. We will go over complications of acute appendicitis, the mimics of acute appendicitis, and lastly masses.

The appendix can be an often overlooked topic in imaging, but it is clinically significant, especially when things go awry.
