Course Description

In the second series on neurocutaneous syndromes, Dr. Asim Choudhri focuses on tuberous sclerosis. He reviews the imaging findings and signs associated with tuberous sclerosis complex and helps to differentiate this disease from dysplasia and cortical tubers. Patients with TSC often present with multiple abnormalities in the brain, any of which can cause seizures or other problematic symptoms. Dr. Choudhri shares his tips for assessing these findings and demonstrates how these patients can be appropriately monitored.
