Case 1 - 76-year-old female presents with history of brain tumor

<div>HISTORY:&#160;This 76-year-old female presents with history of brain tumor.(QUIZ ANSWER) PRIMARY FINDING IN THIS CASE:&#160;Olfactory groove meningioma.Using the&#160;diagnostic web viewer, we have provided images that assist in telling our clinical story. Areas of significance are indicated below.COMPARISON: Comparison is made with examination from five months prior performed of the brain without and with contrast. At that time, there was associated mild small-vessel gliotic change.FINDINGS: On the contrast-enhanced MR, the transverse dimension of the olfactory groove mass or meningioma measured 2.8cm and the AP dimension 3.24cm. The comparable MR demonstrates a transverse dimension of 2.99cm and AP dimension of 3.38cm.&#160;Foci of small-vessel arteriopathy and/or venography are scant but unchanged.&#160;The dural tail of the mass is slightly more prominent along the anterior falx. Does the patient have anosmia?&#160;Currently, the patient has developed otomastoid air-cell disease on the right. The left side had scant mastoid tip mucosal thickening which is unchanged.&#160;CONCLUSION:&#160;Increased in size by 5 to 8% olfactory groove meningioma with new right otomastoid air-cell disease for which thin-section CT of the middle ear might be considered due to its new appearance since five months prior.</div>
