So our first case is a 60-year-old woman with a history of ultrasound-guided biopsy

0:05

of a right breast mass one year ago and she's coming in for follow up.

0:10

So this patient had a biopsy one year ago

0:14

and we're going to be doing some follow up.

0:18

And the area that was biopsied was marked with a ribbon biopsy clip.

0:24

So the ribbon is right there

0:28

and it's here on the other view, and she is heterogeneously dense breast tissue.

0:33

Of course, we're going to go through each of these views, comparing to prior

0:39

and doing tomosynthesis imaging, scrolling through those as well,

0:43

making sure that there's nothing new or different that we have to evaluate.

0:48

And then if there is not, we'll go ahead and look with ultrasound

0:52

at the area that had been biopsied previously.

0:54

So this was her biopsied mass,

0:57

this oval mass with some internal echogenic flex in it,

1:05

and her biopsy clip is actually sitting right at the edge of it.

1:12

And this was unchanged compared to the prior study.

1:18

So, let's just show that.

1:21

So this was the previous exam in that same location.

1:26

So this was prior to her biopsy and the size is about the same.

1:32

So once we've done the one year of follow-up,

1:35

we don't really need to specifically follow this anymore.

1:38

We can give her a designation of BI-RADS 2 and then return her to screening.
