Our next patient is a 25-year-old woman,

0:04

1 month postpartum, currently breastfeeding,

0:06

with a palpable lump in the right breast.

0:10

So for this patient, we started with an ultrasound,

0:14

and this is her palpable area of concern.

0:16

It's in the right breast at the two

0:18

o'clock position, 10 centimeters from the

0:20

nipple, and we have a heterogeneous mass.

0:24

Parts of it are echogenic;

0:26

parts of it are hypoechoic.

0:30

And it measures about 2.4 centimeters;

0:32

you can see it there

0:37

and it has some internal blood flow.

0:40

So this is pretty nonspecific.

0:42

It could be a number of different things.

0:45

So we recommended a biopsy of this as a first

0:49

step, and the biopsy came back B-cell lymphoma.

0:54

So that was an unexpected finding.

0:57

So this was a lymphoma in a

0:58

young breastfeeding woman.

Thank you for your time.
