Case 17 - 61-year-old male with pain and weakness in right elbow

<div>HISTORY:&#160;This 61-year-old male presents with moderate dull pain and weakness in right elbow for five weeks.(QUIZ ANSWER) NOT A FINDING IN THIS CASE:&#160;Moderate radial collateral ligament tear.Using the&#160;diagnostic web viewer, we have provided images that assist in telling our clinical story. Areas of significance are indicated below.FINDINGS: No acute bony macrofracture or contusion. Ulnar collateral and radial collateral ligaments are intact. Moderate-severe tendinopathy of common flexor tendon with a 1 x 1cm undersurface tear approximately 50% in depth. Moderate tendinopathy of the common extensor tendon with a miniscule interstitial insertional tear. Biceps and triceps tendon intact.Foci of osteochondral erosion of the coronoid process, capitellum and juxtaposing radial head. Mild-moderate spurring. The ulnar nerve normal in caliber.Moderate spurring of the trochlea and capitellum.&#160;IMPRESSION: Right Elbow: Moderate-severe medial epicondylitis with tendinopathy and undersurface tear of the common flexor tendon.&#160;&#160;Moderate chronic lateral epicondylitis with tendinopathy with a miniscule insertional tear of the common extensor tendon.&#160;Arthrosis of the elbow joint with osteochondral erosion of coronoid process, radial head and juxtaposing capitellum.&#160;Thank you for your referral in this case.</div>
