Case 4 - 57-year-old male presents with moderate pain on left elbow

<div>HISTORY:&#160;This 57-year-old male presents with moderate pain on inside of left elbow for 60 days and worse with use.(QUIZ ANSWER) PRIMARY FINDING:&#160;Partial thickness tear of common flexor tendon.Using the&#160;diagnostic web viewer, we have provided images that assist in telling our clinical story. Areas of significance are indicated below.FINDINGS: No acute bony macrofracture or contusion. Ulnar collateral and radial collateral ligaments are intact. Mild tendinopathy of common extensor tendon with a chronic 3mm undersurface tear. 0.5 x 1cm superficial partial thickness tear of common flexor tendon primarily involving the flexor digitorum superficialis with mild edema of the muscles.&#160;Biceps and triceps tendons intact.&#160;Ulnar nerve normal in caliber.&#160;IMPRESSION: Left Elbow: Acute 0.5 x 1cm superficial partial thickness tear of common flexor tendon with adjacent muscle edema.&#160;Mild chronic tendinopathy of common extensor tendon with a 3 millimeter undersurface tear.&#160;Superficial varix.</div>
